Success Stories – Toma: “5 years I will never forget”

Toma’s Success Story with Baltic Employees. 🌟

What were your first months at the company like? What was the most memorable part?

The first months at the company were full of analysis and new insights. A lot of focus was placed on understanding the company’s operations, strategy, and discussions with the director about future growth. The very first sales manager meetings, held in the old office on S. Nėries Street, left a warm and nostalgic memory. 😊

How did you feel when your responsibilities started to grow?

As my responsibilities grew, exploring new directions became an exciting experience. I organized the openings of new departments in Bulgaria and Romania, gained valuable experience, and broadened my professional horizons.

Was there a moment when you thought, “This is exactly why this job is worth doing”?

Everyday work has a big impact because it helps people. We provide jobs to EU citizens, helping them achieve financial success and support their families. For many employees, it was the first time leaving their home country and seeing Germany. The job also offers the opportunity to learn a new language and gain unique experiences.

Can you share one story or situation that stood out the most to you over these 5 years?

I’ve had many experiences over the past five years, but the one that stands out the most was the first weekend trip with the administration team to Riga. We spent time together like one big family, shared our experiences, and enjoyed the sense of togetherness.

What advice would you give to new employees?

Be open, communicate a lot, and don’t be afraid to ask questions. Only an open culture allows you to integrate into the team faster and achieve the best results. What you give is what you get – if you smile, you’ll receive smiles in return.

What would you say to yourself if you could go back to your first day at work?

An exciting experience awaits you, with a non-monotonous job and plenty of new “firsts.”

What helps you relax and “unplug” after work?

During the colder months – Korean movies, aerial yoga, pool workouts, and massages. In the warmer months – active outdoor leisure: gardening, swimming in the river, and mushroom picking in the forest. And, of course, “meditation in clothing stores” 😀
